‘Katulong’ is a helper or what we call maid.

Use ‘katulong’ in Sentences:

  • Siya nga pala siya ang katulong ko. – By the way she is my maid.
  • Yung katulong ko nasa bahay pa. – My maid is still in the house.
  • Magaling ang katulong ko. – My maid is good.
  • May katulong ako. – I have maid.
  • Wala akong katulong. – I don’t have maid.
  • Madami akong mga katulong. – I have many helpers.
  • Kailangan ko ng katulong. – I need helpers.
  • Abala ang katulong ko. – My maid is busy.
  • Wag mong istorbohin ang katulong ko. – Don’t disturb my maid.
  • Gusto ko ang katulong ko. – I like my maid.
  • Tutulongan ka ng katulong ko. – My maid will help you.
  • Nirirespeto ko ang katulong ko. – I respect my maid.
  • Gusto ng umuwi ng katulong ko. – My maid wants to go home.
  • Limang taon ng nagtatrabaho ang katulong ko sakin. – My maid is working for five years on me.
  • Kailangan ng katulong ko ang tulong ko. – My maid needs my help.

  • Saan na ang kulong mo?Where is your maid?
  • Ito ba ang katulong mo? – Is this your maid?
  • Ano ang pangalan ng katulong mo? – What is the name of your maid?
  • May katulong ka ba? – Do you have maid?
  • Kumusta na ang katulong mo? – How is your maid?
  • Kailangan mo ba ng tulong ng katulong ko? – Do you need the help of my maid?

Note: In the Philippines if you are working as maid in their homes you called as a ‘yaya’.

Use ‘yaya’ in a sentence:

  • Yaya, luto na ba ang pagkain? – Maid, is the food is cooked?
  • Yaya, kailangan ko ng tulong mo. – Maid, I need your help.
  • Hindi ko kailangan si yaya. – I don’t need maid.
  • Tulongan mo nga ako yaya. – Kindly help me maid.
  • Ayoko ko niyan yaya. – Maid, I don’t like that.
  • Yaya, pakikuha ng gamit ko. – Maid, kindly get my things.
