‘Sigaw’ in English

‘Sigaw’ is a Tagalog word which means shout.

  •  sumisigaw habang kumakanta –  shouting while singing
  • sumisigaw habang galit – shouting while angry
  • sumisigaw habang kumakain – shouting while eating
  • sumisigaw ng walang dahilan – shouting without reason
  • sumisigaw sa harap ng maraming tao – shouting in front of many people
  • sumisigaw sa daan – shouting on the road
  • sumigaw ng malakas – to shout out loud

  • Napakaingaw ng singaw. – Shouting is too noisy.
  • Sumigaw ka buong araw. – Shout whole day.
  • Wag kang sumigaw pag ikaw ay galit. – Shout when you’re angry.
  • Ayaw kong sumigaw si nanay. – I don’t want mommy to shout.
  • Ayaw ko sa mga taong sumisigaw. – I don’t like those people who are shouting.
  • Sinigawan ko siya dahil galit ako. – I shout at him because I’m angry.
  • Sumigaw hanggang kailan mo gusto. – Shout whenever you want.
