Using ‘napaka’ in Tagalog

‘Napaka’ means so in English.

 

Examples:

  • sarap (delicious)

napakasarap – so delicious
Ex: Napakasarap ng pagkain.The food is so delicious. 

   

  • lungkot (sad)

napakalungkot – so sad
Ex: Napalungkot ko ngayon.I am so sad now.

 

  • sakit (hurt)

napakasakit – really hurt
Ex: Napakasakit ng kamay ko.My hand really hurts.

 

  • dali (easy)

napakadali – so easy
Ex: Napakadali lang niyan.Its just so easy.

 

  • pangit (ugly)

napakapangit – so ugly
Ex: Napakapangit ng kasintahan niya.His/her boyfriend/girlfriend is so ugly.

 

  • bobo (dumb)

napakabobo – so dumb
Ex: Napakabobo mo.You are so dumb.

 

  • talino (smart)

napakatalino – so smart
Ex: Napakatalinong bata nito. – This kid is so smart.

 

  • bait (kind)

napakabait – so kind
Ex: Napakabait ng pamilya niya sakin.His/her family is so kind to me.

  • ganda (beautiful)
