When I am learning a new language, I always get bored of memorization. I want to see how these words are strung together in sentences. If you search for Tagalog text, though, it is too difficult to read and the translation will not be to the side.

So what I've done here on this page was put together a very simple conversation, typical of what would be heard while looking for a job. The English translation accompanies the Tagalog text so that you can make sense of what you are reading.

Conversation of the manager and the applicant: (Usapan ng tagapamahala at ng may kahilingan.)

A	I am an engineer from the Philippines.	Ako ay isang inhinyero galing Pilipinas.
A	I want to work in your company.	Gusto kong magtrabaho sa inyong kompanya.
M	Excellent, we are very much in need of engineers.	Napakagaling, talagang kailangang-kailangan namin ng mga inhinyero.
M	Welcome, we need lots of staff.	Malugod ka naming tinatanggap, Kailangan namin ang maraming kawani.
