Differences between ako and ko

Ako and ko are tagalog words which have the same meaning, ‘me’ in English.

Ako and ko are usually place on the middle or anywhere of the sentences, but the difference is that you can use the ' ako' on the first word of the sentences but ' ko' is not.

Examples:
Ako
Ako ay may aso. (I have a dog.)
Ako ang panalo. (I am the winner.)
Ako ay tumitingin sa kanya. (I am looking at him.)
Hindi ako kumain kahapon. (I did not eat yesterday.)
Mas maganda ako sayo. (I am beautiful than you.)
Siya ang may-ari at hindi ako. (He is the owner and not me.)

Ko
Hindi ko siya gusto. (I don’t like her.)
Hindi ko siya kilala. (I don’t know him/her.)
Basahin mo nga ang nakasulat sa libro ko. (Read the writings on my book.)
Dalhan mo ko ng chokolate. (Bring me chocolates.)
Huwag mo itapon ang damit ko. (Don’t throw my dress.)
Kasama mo ko sa iyong paglalakbay. (I am with you on your adventure.)
