‘Kape’ Meaning

One of the few countries that produce coffee is the Philippines. It is one the most important crops because coffee has a history as rich in flavor. Lipa Batangas is rich in coffee which they introduced the first coffee tree in 1740 during the Spanish regime. Then Batangas became the coffee capital of the Philippines

‘Kape’ means coffee


‘Kapeng Barako’ is a coffee varietal that grown in the Cavite and Batangas Philippines.

‘Kape Alamid’ also can be found in the Philippines. It was considered local delicacy in Southern Luzon and Kalinga.
