Siya and Siya’y

Siya- he/she

Siya ay – siya’y
Siya ay and siya’y are same; siya’y is just the short term of siya ay to make it short.

Most Filipino’s using Siya’y in the sentences or while talking because it is easy.

Example Sentences:
Tagalog: Siya’y hindi mabait.
(He is not good)

Tagalog: Siya’y nanirahan sa may tabing-dagat.
(He is living beside of the seashore.)

Tagalog: Siya’y mabait na bata.
(She is a good child.)

Tagalog: Siya’y naglakad ng buong araw.
(She walked all day.)

Tagalog: Siya’y may matalino sa Ingles.
(He is smart in English.)

Tagalog: Siya’y nanghiram ng gamit sa akin.
(She borrowed a thing from me.)

Tagalog: Siya’y aalis na ng Pilipinas.
(He will leave the Philippines.)

Tagalog: Siya’y ikakasal na.
(She is getting married.)
