Use ‘mahal’ in Tagalog Sentences

mahal (verb) – love
mahal (adjective) – expensive

 

Using mahal(adj.) in sentences
Examples:
1. Ang mahal naman. – Its too expensive.
2. Ang mahal nito. – This is expensive.
3. Ang mahal ng presyo. – The price is expensive.
4. Hindi ako bibili mahal kasi. – I won’t buy its expensive.
5. Wag ka ng bumili mahal naman yan eh. – Don’t buy its expensive.
6. Hindi ko yan gusto dahil mahal. – I don’t like it because it’s expensive.
7. Napakamahal ng presyo. – The price is too expensive.

Using mahal(verb) in sentences
Examples:
1. Mahal ko siya. – I love him.
2. Hindi niya mahal si Rona. – He doesn’t love Rona.
3. Siguro mahal ka niya. – Maybe he loves you.
4. Mas mahal niya ako. – He loves me more.

Using the word ‘mahal’ in adjective and verb form in one sentence:
Examples:
1. Mahal ko mahal yung binigay mong kwintas. – My love the necklace you gave to me is expensive.
2. Nakita mo ba ang mahal kong singsing mahal ko? – Have you seen my expensive ring my love?
