Using Kayo, Ninyo, Inyo in Tagalog
The use of “kayo” (pron. you (plural), “ninyo” (pron. yours, you, by you (plural), “(sa) inyo” (pron. your yours) in a sentence.
“Kayo” sentence example: Focus form
- Kayo bang lahat ay masaya? (Are you all happy?)
- Lahat ba kayo ay tumira dito? (Are you all stayed here?)
- Kahit hindi kayo nagsisampalataya sa akin. (Though you do not believe me.)
- Hindi ko na kayo tatawaging mga alipin. (No longer do I call you slaves)
- Bakit kayo(y) nangakatayong tumitigin sa langit? (Why do you stand looking into the sky?)
“Ninyo” sentence example: Non focus form
- Doon makikita ninyo siya. (There you will see him.)
- Mangakikilala ninyo ang aking ama. (You would have known of my father also.)
- Masasabi ninyo sa bundok na ito. (You shall say to this mountain)
- Mangakilala ninyo sila. (You will know them.)
- Ano ang sabi ninyo kong sino ako? (But who do you say that I am?)
“Inyo” sentence example: Non focus form
- Siya(y) susuguin ko sa inyo. (I will send him to you.)
- Kaya napopoot sa inyo ang sanlibutan. (Therefore the world hates you)
- Siyay tatahan sa inyo, at sasa inyo. (He abides with you, and will be in you)
- Sinabi ko na sa inyo. (Truly I say to you)
- Wariin ninyo ang mga ibon. (Consider the birds.)
